Let’s talk about oranges for a sec.
Coles and Woolworths sell USA oranges, while there are plentiful Australian Valencias everywhere.
As you can see in our photo here, they aren’t the most beautiful orange, they’re a little bit orange, a little bit green and a little bit ugly.
Coles and Woolies want pretty, they want perfect, so they get beautiful looking Navel Oranges from overseas. These are the main oranges they sell through summer.
They don’t care about Aussie farmers.
They care only about the almighty dollar.
$9.50kg is out of control.

In a world where everyone is worried about the cost of living, Coles and Woolies don’t give two shits about you or how much you’re spending, as long as they can make record profits, and apparently, not putting any of that money into the pockets of Aussie farmers.

We’re not saying to come and buy from us, we’re saying to buy from a greengrocer or an independent. You’ll be looked after better, the prices will be better, the quality will be better.
MOST importantly, we’re buying and selling Australian produce and putting money back into the pockets of Aussie farmers.

Stop using the supermarkets, they don’t care about you, or farmers.
Fuck the supermarkets.
